Adventure Day 8: Bora Bora

Ty and I woke up and decided to explore the reef behind our house. It was so beautiful but very much sharp coral, and not soft sand. What a wonderful way to start the day.

Then we had breakfast at the hotel, and it’s been ok, nothing really wrong with it. However, nothing can compare to the luxury of our previous hotel. After breakfast the kids really wanted to check out the kids club. They had spied a popcorn machine from the window so they had high hopes. This gave Ty and I chance sweat to death on the tennis course, followed with a kayak out around the bungalows, and a look for the sting rays. We saw them briefly but they were very deep and quite skittish. So we ended up just relaxing in a hammock over the water.

The kids were SUPER bored at the kids club unfortunately. The woman they had supervising spoke no English, and the activities seem geared for younger kids. So we took them back to the house and we enjoyed some pool time while wrapping up some homework reading.

We decided to avoid dinner meltdown from the night before and just ordered the kids room service. They stayed in the room and watched a movie, while Ty and I went out and had a yummy pasta dinner. Definitely the way to go!

After dinner Ty and I went back and changed for our late night tennis court reservation. It was still so hot, but we had a ton of fun playing. This was our last night in Bora Bora and it was a great final day.
